WINGBABE makes tools that help you look out for yourself and your friends on a night out. They work best when you know exactly what they can and can't do. Please read this before you use them.

Drink-test stickers and Backup Card

What they are

Qualitative screening tests that help detect certain specific substances in a drink. Each test screens only for the substances named on its packaging, and only at or above its detection level.

What they are not

  • They are not a guarantee that a drink is safe. A negative result does not mean a drink is safe. No test detects every substance.
  • They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
  • They have not been evaluated, cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulator.
  • They are not for testing blood, urine, saliva or any other bodily sample.
  • Results are for personal awareness only and are not evidence for any legal, criminal, employment or insurance purpose.

Limits you should know

  • A drink may contain a substance below the detection level, a substance the test doesn't screen for, or extra alcohol.
  • False negatives and false positives can happen.
  • Milk- or cream-based drinks, cream liqueurs, red wine, dark red or strongly coloured mixers and very acidic drinks can affect results.
  • Use exactly as instructed, read within the stated time, store as directed, and don't use after the expiry date. Each test is single-use.

Stay safe

  • Never drink something just because a test showed no change. If a drink looks, smells or tastes strange, was left unattended, or you have any doubt, don't drink it.
  • If a test shows a positive result, don't drink it. Tell a friend and venue staff, and get somewhere safe.
  • If you think you or someone else has been drugged, or you feel unwell, get medical help or call your local emergency number (911 in the US) immediately, whatever the test shows. Ask for a hospital test.
  • Do not swallow or eat any part of a test. Keep away from children. Don't apply stickers to broken or irritated skin or nails.

GPS+ personal safety alarm

  • The alarm is designed to attract attention and help alert people you choose. It does not guarantee your safety, prevent crime, or replace emergency services.
  • The siren may not be heard in loud places.
  • Location and notification features depend on your phone, its battery and settings, Bluetooth, mobile data, GPS signal and third-party apps, and may be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable.
  • Test your alarm and keep it charged. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number.

Your responsibility

Our products are aids, not guarantees. You remain responsible for your own decisions, drinks and safety. Please read our Terms of Service, which include an assumption of risk, limits on our liability and a binding arbitration agreement.

International customers

You are responsible for making sure our products can be lawfully imported and used in your country. Some countries regulate testing products and may hold or refuse parcels at customs.
